Good news this morning! N. N. Light’s Book Heaven gave my new release 5+ stars! Here’s a snippet of the review:

“An intoxicating gothic paranormal mystery…The world-building was impeccable and classic Judith Sterling. The paranormal aspects were brilliant…I couldn’t put this book down. Highly recommend!”

If you’re interested, you can read the entire review here. Readers’ Favorite also gave Trip the Light Phantasmic five stars:

“A delightful and original story that follows Gwyn as she falls down the rabbit hole into a gothic world where she finds mystery, romance, and magic.”

Paranormal Romance Guild gave it five stars too:

“Such a unique story…I have no doubt you will be as engrossed as I was.”

All in all, this is a great start for the new series, and I’m deeply grateful to my readers and reviewers. Now I need to get back to work on the detailed outline of the second book in the series. Have a wonderful week! 🙂

five-star review, Flight of the Raven, gothic mystery series, gothic paranormal mystery, Judith Sterling, medieval romance, Readers' Favorite, The Novels of Ravenwood, Trip the Light Phantasmic

I woke up this morning to a five-star review from Readers’ Favorite for Flight of the Raven, the first book in The Novels of Ravenwood medieval romance/time travel series. Woohoo! Here’s a little of what the reviewer said:

“Set in northern England in the early 1100s, Flight of the Raven by Judith Sterling reminded me of the earlier works of authors such as Virginia Henley, one of my favorite historical romance authors. Although the book was a quick read, I found myself easily drawn into the period as well as the lives of the characters. The historical touches were woven in nicely and didn’t detract from the storyline. I particularly enjoyed the added elements of mysticism that were still present at the time, as well as the healing practices of Lady Emma.”

Even though I’ve completed the five-book series, it’s nice to know the one that started it all is still touching readers. Trip the Light Phantasmic, the first book of my new gothic paranormal mystery series, will be ready for preorder soon. I can’t wait to show you the cover!

I’ll keep you posted. Have a beautiful day and weekend ahead! 🙂

Great news! I woke up this morning to learn The Cauldron Stirred earned a five-star review from Readers’ Favorite. Woohoo! Here’s a bit of the review:

“The dialogue is fantastic with descriptive details and attitudes that give a little extra spark to the tone of the story…Delightfully Irish, The Cauldron Stirred delivers a rich and original take on Irish mythology through a coming-of-age journey that has romance, destiny, and family.”

As you know, The Spear Alight–the last book in the Guardians of Erin series–was recently published. It’s wonderful to know the first book is still making a positive impact. If you’re interested, you can find buy links here.

Now, I’m off to continue writing Trip the Light Phantasmic, the first book in my new gothic cozy series, The Gothic Gwyn Mysteries. Wishing you a beautiful day and weekend ahead! 🙂

five-star review, Guardians of Erin, N. N. Light's Book Heaven, paranormal fantasy series, The Spear Alight, young adult series

Good morning! I just read N. N. Light’s review of The Spear Alight, and it received 5++ stars!!! I’m honored and thrilled that the story touched someone so much. Here’s a bit of the review:

“The Spear Alight is an exceptional young adult paranormal fantasy from start to finish. I’ve read every book in this series and this book is the best of them all. Yes, this is the last book in the series but I’m telling you, it’s a masterpiece. The characters, the conflicts, the emotional tension, the world-building, the expressive narration all blend together to make this story one of the very best I’ve ever read.”

If you’re interested, you can read the full review here. If interest becomes a desire to buy, the first three books in the series are still on sale for 99 cents apiece, and you can purchase the whole series here.

Wishing you a beautiful day and week ahead! 🙂

five-star review, Judith Sterling, medieval romance, Readers' Favorite, Shadow of the Swan, The Novels of Ravenwood

Good news! Shadow of the Swan received 5 stars from Readers’ Favorite! Here’s part of the review:

“Shadow of the Swan by Judith Sterling is the third book in the Ravenwood series. It will appeal to lovers of historical romance and magic-based novels. I loved everything about this book, from the plot to the writing style. The plot was so unique and captivating that I longed to read the first two installments. Judith developed this story with such historical accuracy, a laid back vibe, and some refreshing medieval flavor. I also enjoyed the language usage, which felt very Shakespearean. The story had depth, displaying themes like patience, bravery, deceit, empathy, and more. A tangible lesson I took from this novel is that bullies and tormentors thrive on their victims’ fear. Banish the fear, stand up to them, and they’ll lose their power. I look forward to reading more books from Judith!”

Needless to say, this made my day, and I’m grateful the reviewer enjoyed it so much. Hope you have a lovely day, too!  🙂

A Knight in Shining Armor, five-star review, Jude Deveraux, Judith Sterling, medieval England, medieval romance, N. N. Light's Book Heaven, Night of the Owl, Outlander, The Novels of Ravenwood, time travel romance

My new release, Night of the Owl, just received a five-star review from N. N. Light’s Book Heaven!  Here’s a snippet:

Night of the Owl is a sweeping, romantic time travel adventure and the best book of the series. In the same vein as Jude Deveraux’s A Knight in Shining Armor, Judith Sterling weaves an intoxicating romance between an independent modern-day heroine and a medieval ahead-of-his-time hero. The intricate historical backdrop is impressive and added to the richness of the story. She brings such detail to this historical time period, I could smell, taste, and feel everything the characters experience…The ending was incredible. My heart beat a staccato and I might have swooned a bit. Okay, a lot…If you love time travel romance, like Outlander, you’ll fall in love with Night of the Owl.

A little more about The Stone Awakened:

Since moving to Ireland, Ashling Donoghue has tackled one challenge after another. Now the mystery of her parents’ disappearance seems unsolvable. Are they dead or only missing? No one—not even the godlike Breasals—has a clue. Hope and fear war inside her, but she’s determined to find answers and stay strong for her siblings. Even as she hones newfound powers, her banshee-in-training sister Deirdre needs her support.

Ashling could use a little help herself. She’s struggling to navigate her first romance, and while Aengus Breasal stirs her body, mind, and soul, his nemesis Lorcan does too. Both men harbor secrets about her past life as Caer. One has ties to Aoife, the scheming wind demon whose influence is on the rise.

As the Stone of Destiny awakens, so does the conflict within.
