With your book, Past lives Present Stories I have yet to read but was wondering if it analyzes the perspective of a past life projecting on your current life negative or positive?

AM reading your book Past Lives Present Stories and it is an interesting read, can relate to the information you provide. Had question, in my last home, I was awoken from deep sleep by angry voice telling me, “I hate you girl more and more every day” . The tone was very gruff and thought I had heard maybe a Spanish accent. I was not sure who it could be. I have not heard this voice since, but I guess was hoping you may have little insight into this. I too am living in Florida.

I have been going to town on the subject of spiritism at my local book store. I tragically lost my Mother a year ago at the age of 45. Missing mom has lead me to this path. I bought the whole Sylvia Browne collection from a like minded friend. I have been practicing tarot cards the last couple of months reading myself as well as one other person that went very well. With my Christian up bringing I never considered reincarnation as a reality until having my mind opened to the metaphysical world by reading a couple books by John Edward on spirit mediumship. I felt compelled to purchase your book as I scanned the new age book section at the book store. I put another book on hold and read your book all the way through. I felt connected to your book more than any other book. I live in Wisconsin and my father is a quarter native american and my great grand father guarded Rudolph Hess when he served during world war two. I never truly appreciated history until I matured spiritually in my early 20’s. I feel deep connections with people recorded in religious text. I have always been intrigued with buddah and have always had a figure of him in my home. I love fireworks. The art, the magic, the thrill, the smell you get the point. I love Chinese food and maybe this is a past life connection. My son and I are restless and toss and turn a lot at night. I am a active nightly dreamer. Just wish I could project or have lucid dreams. I believe my son who just turned 4 is the same way. I feel him and can just be by each other and our souls talk! This is all new to me being open to this subject and your book has helped validate a lot of things for me! Is there any advice you can give me further on my search? It sounds like you’re on quite a spiritual journey yourself, and your relationship with your son sounds beautiful. I’m not sure what advice I can give other than to stay aware and open to everything that comes your way. And if there’s a particular period of Chinese history you feel drawn to, read up on it and see if you gain further insight. First of all I just want to say thank you! I’ve been reading Past Lives Present Stories and it’s been really helping me calm my mind with all the hectic craziness I’ve been dealing with lately. On another note, your explanation of random extreme interests being connected to past lives is really interesting to me. I have had a strong interest in geishas and Japan since I was young. It kinda came out of nowhere I remember when I saw a Halloween costume in the store as a kid. It sparked in me. Ever since I’ve felt a love for it. My fondness for geisha history has grown stronger as I’ve gotten older. Im looking forward to finding out if that was a possibility. Thank you so much for opening this part of my mind and soul!

I’m only half way through past lives… and I really wish I could meet you sometime. I think you could help me with my research. I haven’t been able to find everything that I am looking for. I am interested in king John’s castle in Limerick and the burning of a witch in the second half of the 1200’s The accused was me and my beloved, he was burned as well. I have never been there but hope to some day. I will be going to England this fall and I’m very excited. I need to know if Hedenbergite means anything to you. I’m in the Pacific Northwest. Hi, Melissa. I’m so glad you’re connecting to the stories in my book. The only Irish “witch burning” I know anything about involved Alice Kyteler’s maid, Petronilla, in 14th-century Kilkenny. Interestingly, though, the first novel I ever wrote had a scene in 16th-century Limerick (with King John’s Castle in the background) in which the hero intuited that his love was in danger. She was, for she’d been accused of witchcraft and burned (in Killarney). As for the word Hedenbergite, my first thought was that it had a Swedish or Germanic connection. Heden = heathen in Swedish. I immediately thought of my past-life connection to Heidenheim monastery in Germany. When I looked up the word, I learned hedenbergite is a mineral named after a 19th-century Swedish scientist. But you probably already know that. Very cool that you’re going to England in the fall! Thanks again for letting me know how much you’re enjoying my book.

Hedenbergite is a healing stone. I was hoping you had heard of more of it’s use in the middle ages. I touched a piece of it at a rock show and was shown a flash of a life when I used it. Trying to find more pieces of the puzzle…

I started reading another book (different author) on past lives and it is so hard to read and has a horrid energy. At page 36 I just had to say no more, and I put it down. I’m just so amazed at the difference.
Your book reads beautifully and your energy is so enthused and uplifting. It would take me too long to share all the moments when I connected and the hair on my arm would stand up. The places you have been drawn to and the way you have experienced them. You inspire me to be embrace my lives as they are revealed and use them to heal myself. That first novel (which I mentioned in Past Lives, Present Stories) was Where There’s Smoke, but it was never published. But another novel I mentioned in the book–Flight of the Raven–will be released sometime this fall. Yay! It’s the first of a series of five novels I’m writing. When I envisioned the series 15 years ago, I never imagined it would take so long for it to see the light of day. But I’m sure you believe, as I do, that everything happens at the perfect time and in the perfect way.
As for your research, a lot depends on the time period you want, but I do know two sources you can find online. First, there’s the Domesday Book, a record of the “Great Survey” (ordered by William the Conqueror) of much of England and Wales. It was completed in 1086, and you can find it online at http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/domesday. One source for medieval Ireland–which I used for my Past Lives book–is the Annals of the Four Masters, with records all the way up to 1616. You can find it online at http://www.ucc.ie/celt/online/T100005A. I asked my historian husband about anything else he might know, but he doesn’t know much about British records and uses American sources more for his work.

Thanks for your “Past Lives” book! I’ve had several spontaneous regressions similar to those you describe, once embarrassingly in public, which initially left me reeling. As a scientist, this was far from my comfort zone, and I think I was given them specifically to break down my culturally imposed barriers. If I’d only heard someone else describe it, I would have always felt a nugget or more of doubt. But when it hits, you KNOW it’s truth, beyond any belief system (which is what science is, by and large). I’ve since done years of my own research into this and other extra-normal phenomena. I’m only one person, and not everyone listens to me! But with your book, so many more are reached and their consciousness and understanding expanded, their evolution given forward momentum. There’s nothing more important, so thank you for your service! Really interesting book! I’m soon to read your one on angels.

Just finished the last pages, and the parallels between some of your life events and mine are sometimes jaw-dropping. I was born in Australia to Finnish parents, but never felt home here. Can’t be further from Scandinavia than southern Australia, I think! I lived in Sweden in 1988-89 to see how I felt in the north, and it was a little better but still not ‘home’. Loved the climate and landscape though, deeply. (I left there in Sept.’89, soon after you arrived. I travelled about, but was mostly in Goteborg.) I’m also Taurean (May 4th, Star Wars day) and was obsessed with the stars in space from the time I was first conscious in this life. I’ve heard from channels I’m Pleaidian, I figure that’s ‘home’ to me. Your discussions of Ely, Whitby and Yorkshire, Scotland, various lives as a nun or viking woman, illuminated manuscripts, ancient languages (and current language facility), lives as a healer or magic worker, so many other ‘pings’ as I read, I can’t help but think there are real connections there, too many to mention them all. Perhaps we shared a monastery or 2 sometime!
I nearly didn’t pick up the book, I have to say, thinking I’ve read them all, but wanted something to transport me away for a while. It certainly did, and again pointed out to me and my dull brain you can never read everything! Always a new angle somewhere, new connections to be made. Thanks again, it was a lot of fun!

While reading it, I had to chuckle. When I met you in Salem, I kept having to look at your name tag because I kept thinking your name was Katherine. When I looked you up, I again, put in “Katherine”. I couldn’t figure out why I kept doing that. Then….I read your book. Funny how things like that happen. Very cool!

You could try Cherie Vergini or The Psychic Twins (the Jamison sisters), but they’re quite pricey. Because you’re intuitive yourself, you could seek out your own and trust what feels right to you. Judith, I’ve been in your book, Past Lives, Present Stories, for the second time, and decided after my evening bourbon to respond.
I was in chapter four, and immediately came up to my computer. What struck a deep cord was your connection to Tudor clan.
I’ve worked with solid mediums and psychics for decades but it’s only been in last few years that it came out of the blue (something I had never sought out) I seem to have had numerous (too many I say) lives through English royal families as male heirs from Normans, Plantaganets, and Tudors. Yikes. So many early deaths. Violence.
I’ve exchanged casual emails with a woman in England who has written bios of me, my family and loves, but I have never revealed my past lives to her. I only compliment her research.
My spiritual advisors tell me it is usual that one’s family keeps re-occurring through various lives. Yikes. And that’s, apparently, happened with me in this lifetime. I was put up for adoption in my first weeks after a scandal with Tudor relatives from previous lives.
You should probably know that for many years I lived in Cambridge/Boston and I have a connection to Salem . — my trusted tarot reader in Boston once owned a psychic and crystal shop in Salem, and a city for whom I have fond memories from decades past. I lived in Europe for 13 years. Now back in US.
